Cory Schneider on his retirement, memories of Vancouver and Luongo heading to the Ring of Honour
Former Canucks Goaltender Cory Schneider joined the guys to talk about why the time was right for him to retire and Luongo heading to the Ring of Honour in December.
Really a great dude. Can't help but think gosh, if a few decisions were slightly different and a few crappy injuries didn't happen, that era of the team could've brought home a lot more hardware. But hey, it's the Canucksā¦ So we go on
I have always liked Cory Schneider – even back in the day when playing the EA NHL games, I would play him over Luongo… you have to wonder, had the Canucks chose to stick with Schneider and traded Luongo, and if a couple of the terrifying injuries did not occur, what kind of a career he would have had… Anyways, happy retirement for a stand-up guy who seems to have found peace with the tail end of his career…

Hope to see him on Ian Clarke's goaltending coaching staff soon!
Why didn't Cory play in the final… cuz Roberto lost his mind
Cory was one of my all time Canucks
King Richard Brodeur my fav Canuck Goalie
Ah man Schneider effin rocked when he was here. I was gutted when he was traded. I would have loved for him to stay and be a tandem with Demko š
Retired you say? Tampa Bay has other thoughts.
His jannick Hansen impersonation is an iconic Canuck moment imo š
Appreciate you Cory!
Not Cory's fault, but the 2011 talk is played out. Also, Cory is the man.
