Poitras and Lohrei should both make the team. Sending Poitras back to junior would be a waste of a season. Lohrei is good enough for sixth or seventh defenceman. Time to rebuild. Cut the deadwood loose. Add a few good free agents next season.
there is literally no reason to not take any risks this year, this is the year we should be taking risks and forming our future, imagine going into next season, experienced rookies like poitras, Beecher, lohrei and possibly Lysell, with pasta, zacha, marchy, Mcavoy, lindholm, and then adding a few solid free agents with all the money we have next year, taking risks this year could result in a 1 year rebuild lol
Poi trad maybe young and small but he’s one of the few on the team that thinks the game and makes good plays. Let him grow in the nhl like Bergy and pasta did.

The team as a whole looks awful – does not look like a playoff team – unbelievable- dominated and outplayed in preseason by flyers and capitals- hoping it’s just looking at young players
