its sad to see him go but im excited to see hooker on the habs, guys a beaut i hope he puts it together. i think the avs won this deal big time though now that they got colton.
he may end up staying but ej is going to free agency for sure. also sucks to see.

I’d say that’s a pretty good trade, hopefully newhook does well in Montreal. If he does grow well, Montreal will have the shortest forst line 😂 Hughes needs to add size, to protect the big guys. An injured Xhekaj can’t protect them all. Also, avalanche looking rough, they have nobody in the bottom six. They might be a 3rd seeding team.

Alex Newhook will not wear 18 in Montreal, as that number has been retired. Belongs to a member of that Big Three awhile ago Serge Savard 😀
