Don’t jump Wilson from behind
I don't get the responses that say it's the Rangers' own fault for being soft. Really? So the NHL in 2021 is now a place where injuring the best players on the opposing team is fair game as long as they aren't tough enough? The NHL set itself back 20 years in player safety with this single non-action against Wilson. Ridiculous.
We need to get tougher. Bring in Mess in some capacity as a coach
For all of those who blame the victim – in this case Panarin for jumping on Wilson's back. here's the deal. Every player needs to pair up with an opposing player during a scrum or risk a a 2 on 1. Panarin did his job as Strome was occupied by another player when Wilson jumped him. Now, Wilson upon seeing who was restraining him needed to back off. That's common sense. The fact that he didn't shows me he's a lunatic.
