    Habs seem to only target players that Hughes or Gorton have past dealings with, I am actually a fan of getting Lafrenierre to Montreal, but how many players can they bring to the habs that havent made it elsewhere? It hasn't really worked out yet, I mean Dach is having a good start, but he can be streaky. Habs are literally so bad on offense, it's taken 2 years to even find a 3rd player capable of playing on the first line. It's time to start spending some money, and bring in some offense. Definitely dont need more D, they need goal scoring, and goaltending, and until we address BOTH of those, we aren't making the playoffs. Dont believe me? Think they're gonna make it this year, if they all stay healthy? i have been a habs fan too long to believe that. We are a long ways away from a contending team, but it'd be nice to see a little improvement, maybe a playoff round by now? Is that too much to ask? By now, i mean the end of this season, I mean after this year, this will have been 3 years of a rebuild, if not playoff bound, we should at least be getting close, right?     I would love to get Lafreniere, but they should seriously go after Hart, they don't have a goalie for the future.

    I dont think the Habs will take Lafreniere since they have so many young guys they had to send down. Habs are not desperate for young talent.

    As a Rangers fan I hope and pray that they unload Lafreniere!
    I have watched every game that he has played for us and I don't see any 'magic' in his game like I do with Jack Hughes of the Devils.
    Remember when they were touting him as the next Sidney Crosby?
    He's a bust!

    Laf was highly touted prior of the draft but let's be frank, he is a bust and Habs should not give up more than a 2nd.

    Speaking of habs rumours. Little birdie told me that the habs were looking at acquiring Nemec with Reinbacher being a name going back. Bring in a lifelong friend in Nemec for Slaf in addition to being a stud dman. Reinbacher kicks the overloaded NJD blue line problem down the road. Makes sense.
