I’m unsure about the comments saying TBD how many games. I hope we don’t sit him in the press box a bunch when he could be playing games somewhere.

Would be a bit out of the ordinary for such a high pick to go back to the SHL and they clearly don’t think he’s going to benefit from the AHL.
I’m surprised by that kind of transparency in advance. He certainly does look like an NHLer though, and adapts to change very quickly so there is a lot of upside here.
It’s also a good sign that he’s showing a lot of confidence in the Carlsson pick that had a lot of people in the hockey world scratching their heads.
Looking forward to seeing him play with some of our better players.
Awesome! Great to hear in a rebuilding year that our draft pick is already ready for the NHL and we get to watch his rookie season unfold!
I’d prefer to see him tear up the AHL for a while.
