We look frustratingly good enough. Lot of the young guys have the speed this teams has been missing for years. Coots still a half step behind but that’s to be expected. Should be an interesting season at least.
Foerster Brink Andrae Zamula have all made their case to be on the team. Its just a matter of getting more reps in at this point to fine tune things and find a rhythym

Looked good, but that was clearly a mostly AHL islanders lineup
I **really** like our 4th line. I have to eat some crow now, because I was talking mad shit about Hathaway a few weeks ago (mainly because I hated him on the caps), but he played really well tonight. Defense still needs to tighten up, but our forward core isn’t bad
Looks like I missed a good one. Gotta watch some highlights.

Fun game against not the best Isles squad but I think we are in for some exciting hockey this season. Still won’t win a lot but will be fun to watch compared to the last few seasons.

Biggest thing that stood out to me ALL GAME was how insanely fast the team played tonight. Very visibly fast ! They were first on the puck all over the ice. Could be a very entertaining season. I still doubt playoffs but still…entertaining.
