Great tilt, love to see them go for more than 30 seconds nowadays but unfortunately once a helmet comes off refs are pretty quick to get in there, trying to eliminate getting knocked out and smacking their head onto the ice with nothing to protect em.
I love watching Des drop the gloves. He’s not a huge dude but always willing. As they mentioned it probably sucked really bad to fight last year and try to pump up a non-competitive team but hopefully they do a little better this year
Im little late and not sure you would be able to, but Kuemper has lost his skate blade 2 games in a row. On another note, losing skate blades could be a good compilation idea!
What Deslaurier understands about fighting is what Mike Tyson used to say, "you have to give ass to get ass." Deslaurier is there to be hit, but he always gets his shots in.
MacDermid is a great addition to this Avalanche team. I know they have Landy who is also sticking up for team mates & not shying away from the rough stuff but if it gets really nasty you need someone like MacDermid. I think his team mates will appreciate him being on their side.

Funny thing – both probably at some point came from AHL Ontario Reign or Manchester Monarchs. 😆
