Kudos to Cuylle for defying the odds. Impression all summer was that he'd start in Hartford b/c 12F were in place for the lineup, but he forced his way in.

This is just about as good of lines as I could ask for. Big fan of Laviolette so far.
Love these lines. Chytil should be just what bread needs as a center and that 3rd line is gonna be TOUGH for other teams to match up

Worried about the second line defensively, but that also could be a line that doesn’t need to play much defense because they’re controlling the puck in the offensive zone

I like it a lot. Lav is looking way better than Gallant so far.
Well yeah, these are the lines. All 3 “kids” in the top 6 to start the season. All 3 “vets” that define our core still get their minutes.
It’ll be bumpy at first with a new system. But either this setup works, or we just have the wrong players. Sink or swim for everyone in that top 6, as both kids and core need to prove they are more than what they showed last playoffs.
Cuylle-Tro-Wheeler is an elite third line. Awesome
Very happy with the line up, but it’s sink or swim time for Laf. I don’t see him getting much time to prove he can do it before he’s demoted for Wheeler. Also, that 2nd line terrifies me defensively.
That third line
These are good lines. Psyched that cuylle is not only making the team but getting the chance to play on a pretty strong line with tro and wheeler
Loving that second line in particular, wouldn’t be surprised if Chytil and Laf have monster years. Laviolette needs to stay the course with these and not use the ol’ blender anytime something minor goes wrong
I like this generally. Personally, I would want to drop Bonino, slide Goodrow to center, Cuylle to the fourth with Otter taking his spot on the third. But this is a great start IMO.

Not bad, but line two could be an absolute nightmare defensively and when it comes to turnovers. Probably going to be a lot of goals against for those guys, so hopefully they can even it out.
Lafreniere better show up because he really did nothing to earn that spot.
I like this. Maybe laf can use his good positioning to sink Breads cross ice passes while chytil fights underneath.
Just a little iffy on their board play
Hope Lav has the patience to stick with this for the first ten games.
