From what I understand wings didn’t buy out zadina it was a mutual contract termination. Zadina wanted a fresh start and left money on the table to bet on himself and go to a new team. Betting on yourself doesn’t always work out (I’m looking at you Kevin Labanc) but it does excite me to see a skilled player come to the sharks with that kind of attitude. If nothing else it makes a potentially rough upcoming season a little more interesting to watch. Cheers from the Bay Area Professor Hockey!

Like the signing. Some intriguing potential and definitely worth the swing. Could be big if he pans out well.

I like this signing. Like you said basically no risk and could be a huge reward if he can find the talent he had in his draft year.
