Kaliyev kneeing on De Leo – Have your say!

Arthur Kaliyev was given a suspension for this kneeing penalty to Chase De Leo. The final punishment was two pre-season games and two regular season games. Does the punishment fit the crime? Have your say!

  1. Should be minimum 20 games any time you see someone intentionally stick their leg out before making contact. How many supers stars need to have their careers ruined before the NHL learns this? Look at what Ulf Samuelson did to Cam Neely's career. Completely destroyed both of his knees in two hits!

  2. Kaliyev could have adjusted his body when he saw the Ducks player try to dodge the hit at the last second. Bad on the Ducks player to try to dodge like that. They are both at fault for this.

  3. Eh, De Leo definitely backed out of the hit which screwed up Kaliyev. But at the same time, Kaliyev was practically going leg first when he made contact, weird situation.

  4. Poor queen gets mad after getting checked and throws a hissy fit knee-on-knee hit. Worthy suspension and I hope he gets laid out in the first matchup of the regular season between these two teams.
