It looks worse in slow motion. Yes you can't hit the guy, but he flairs his elbow during the stride. Dumoulin legs apparently evaporate from underneath him. How surprising from a penguin, eh?
If the league gives a crap about protecting the players, this is a definite suspension. They seem to pick and choose who to punish, there is no consistency, so I won't be surprised if nothing more comes of this

Simmonds is the All Star MVP this year so I think he will be exempt from any punishment… you know, like Crosby with slashing dudes in the kid factory and Malkin being the only player not to be suspended for a hit that happened like 4 times this year and 3 were suspensions…
I played for 9years and 2 years in college. When you get blind sided depending on how painful it was your body kinda just has a seizure lol im assuming looking at doumlin he did not see it coming and it looks like he lost his balance and didnt intentionally do it
