The Carolina Hurricanes reduced their roster to 30 players today with several moves. They released the 6 remaining PTOs in camp, sent several players to Norfolk Admirals in the ECHL, sent Jamieson Rees to Springfield in the AHL, Aleksi Heimosalmi returned to Finland, and they placed Caleb Jones on waivers. Among the players still in camp are Goalie Yaniv Perets, Dominick Fensore, Felix Unger-Sorum as well as injured Ryan Suzuki, and Vasily Ponomarov. Dylan Coughlan also remains in camp.
