The HOF shouldn't just be for players who exceed in stats or cups. There are players who are just forces of nature when it comes to personalities and deserve a wing of their own at the HOF.

I never understood the trepidation that some NHL teams(management) had at signing Phil. Is it because he enjoys himself? He has contributed wherever he has played. I hope the KINGs sign him.
As a leafs fan who was appalled by how the media treated Kessel, I'm so satisfied to see him throw the shade. I think there's no question he deserves success.
I don't hate Kessel, but he didn't even play in the cup this year and bragged about winning three times? SMD. Like i get it, im not a professional hockey player, but he didn't earn dick for this third cup.
Over time Phil has been a pretty dominant scorer in the league. If he didn't waste his prime years on horrible Toronto teams he would be looked at a lot differently. His scoring output on those teams was amazing and near the top of the league over that time.
Kessel is no joke such an inspiration to me. I mean look at the guy he on the outside looks like just your average joe. But he was guzzling down glizzies out of lord stanely's cup MORE THAN ONCE! What a hero.
I hope VGK te-signs him. He’s just so good in the locker room. The guys literally loved having him around. There are many X Factors that go into being successful and a calming, jovial character like Phil is one of those factors.
