    Hathaway with Washington wss a ok buttom of the lineup player i'm still shocked they traded him . Hathaway signs a 2 year deal with a ok Cap hit what isn't bad . Now need a defenseman to replace DeAngelo when he is dealt in a ciuple days if he still .

    Honestly, At as long they give only 1-2 year contracts out right now, cheap contracts, that’s all that matters to me.

    1. If they play good they could possibly be a trade piece at some point.

    2. Or they play good and re-sign them.

    In my opinion, basically the next 2 years there’s going to be a lot of moving pieces. I believe the Flyers are really looking at year 3 to be ready for Free Agency to sign a bigger name per say & be competitive.

    I actually really like this deal. He’s going to be great with the younger guys and protect them just like Deslauries.We can flip him this year or next at the deadline for picks or maybe in 3-4 years when were up and running again he could be a nice bottom 6 guy for us on a cheap contract. Good move boys 🫡

    Excellent signing. He is pro on and off the ice, plays the game with an edge, and a leader who can take these young players under his wing. Plus, he is a huge pain in the ass to play against.
