I hope Bryson proves us all wrong, I guess
Bryson looks like a boy playing against men, he gets pushed around.
Bryson is basically an ECHL defensemen with the skating skills of an NHL all-star, and that keeps confusing our staff into forgetting that he never makes the right play.
In a recent Granato interview, he commented on several players facing adversity or struggling last season, and Bryson was one of those mentioned ( 37 and 77 also mentioned). I wonder if he sees more for him or if it’s to help his trade value( what like a 4th instead of 5th round d pick haha)
Not a huge fan of waiving Stillman over Bryson. I think Stillman outplayed Bryson, Jokiharju, and Clifton in pre season. I’d probably have Stillman as our 7th rotating in and out with EJ/Clifton
I don’t think Bryson deserves the nod over the other guys, but I’ve decided going into this season I will not waste any headspace over any of them.
They are all below replacement-level 7th D guys and I would assume they will get axed at some point. If they do fine, if not, oh well.
God fuckin dammit. What is wrong with this team and evaluating defensive ability??
So I’d like to ask Adams then why the fuck did you even trade for stillman if you were just gonna keep Bryson? Seriously poor management of your asset there. Frustrating asset management
Stillman should still be up and Bryson should be waived. ugh.
