I definitely agree. If I was the owner of The Stars I would trade him because I have no use for hockey players that do shit like that.

Joe Pavelski is much more deserving of the captaincy. He's was the Sharks captain for many years, and he's 100% going to be a Hall of Famer when he retires, so he's the best fit for the job.

Lol no he shouldn't. Some have done worse. I realize we are in a different time when it comes to hocky. Fine? Yes suspension? Yea but un captain? Yes captains are held to a higher standard but its still playoff hockey and in those situations mistakes are made by all. I am not trying to devalue the penalty.
Benn maybe bet his money against his team with a complice or he is really stupid.
As a stars fan, I agree, like wtf benn. Totally uncalled for being down 2-0 at home. 90 seconds in and you put yourself 1st over the ultimate goal. Completely threw everybody's game off and game 3 lost shows it. I have tix to game 4 and I'm not lookibg forward to it tbh. And domi? You're suppose to keep the guys focused and show the younger players too play through these types of situations. 2020 and now were thrown away just based on inabilities to control game and emotion. No team ever in history has came back from 3-0 in finals. We don't have it to be the first and Vegas would out play us in sheer aggressiveness
Benn's actions appeared to intentionally cause injury – could have been significant airway, arterial, and/or vertebral injury – towards a player in a vulnerable position, no remorse and no apology?!?! He must be severely punished.

I totally agree with you. It isn't just the hit. It is him not being available after the game to talk to the media and him not accepting responsibility for his actions. I have never been a big fan of Jamie Benn and it is because of things like this that are why. He is a joke.
Benn has been the leader for 10 years, the locker room respects him and hes a great player so idk why he should be stripped of it. yes he cost his team the series and the lack of accountability is worrying but it doesnt negate all he has done for this franchise as a whole
Best part is, some of the fans are so stupid they actually believe he should have only gotten a 2 minute penalty or that the refs were calling non penalties 😂😂

Really I watched your content and I have to be honest with you I've been a hockey fan for 34 years. I have seen it all and apparently you have not. You make comments about Jamie Benn, but you have no idea what Stone may have done what was said, because Stone is one of the Nasty players in hockey. He's right up there with all the bad boys. I'll say Jeremy Roenick was 1 of the worst mouths in hockey and it took Darien Hatcher breaking his jaw in 1 game, on a crazy powerful hit that shut his mouth going forward. There are reasons why things like this happen! Your sitting there as the armchair quarterback and speculate all you want. but you have no idea what was said or what Spewed out of Stone's mouth that Jamie went off on and he got tired of it and did what he did sorry to say. Jamie Benn's has a history of jerky malicious moments in his nhl career. Not worthy of being captain. In his interviews he doesn't offer valid justification for his behavior and or real insights that are beneficial to the progression of that team. Small minded man child.
