🙏🙏🙏 Already? Man oh man.
So the question with all of these extensions is this: Is Bill Guerin building a bridge to putting prospect pool into play or is he building a country club of the likes he took over? That remains to be seen, however; in the meantime what will be the cost of changeover with these expensive extensions (some with possibly troubling NMC's)? The difference of winning a cup vs barely winning a division is huge and this fan base wants the cup not mediocrity!!! We saw the problems with aging players not getting tradeworthy contract offers until there's no trade value – ala Matt Dumba. Now we have up to 4 of those situations down the road and that is troubling to some.
Looks to me. East Coast Billy is building the country club of aging vets much like the one he dismantled when he took over. Not sure hiw any of some young speedy prospects are going to break the lineup. Trade em I guess.
Hartman = $4M, Moose = $4M and Zucc = $4.1M……..
$12M+ wouldve went a long way towards a 1C. In the last week and a half Guerin said everything he needed to say about the "prospect pool".

How did we get to this point? And why didnt we learn that this team is only as deep as our best players? It's why we keep getting wrecked in the 1st round every year.
I mean… Goose and Midds on our top D pair in the most difficult league in the world? God Christ help us, because that's just disgusting lol.
ALSO, FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT STILL THINK "THE BUYOUTS" ARE "A THING", GUERIN HAS SPENT OVER $12M IN CAP on 3 vets when could've just as easily brought up 3 prospects and spent the majority of that cap on a 1C.
Guys, Wild had more CAP than 24 other teams in 2022.
