  1. Zegras isn't worth more than 5.749 million!!! Anaheim was fleeced!!! /s

I don't really understand why it took so long to sign Zegras. He's the only reason to watch Anaheim highlights.

  2. Kudos to Ducks for sticking to their guns. That year and value is exactly the appropriate offer to Zegras

  3. I'm dismayed that the Bruins are planning to switch back to the old jersey and in particular the old logo next season.

  4. Despite Zegras not hitting what ppl think is super star status is 82gms 82pts or Over
But hey he draws fans and puts up pts 60 idk ppg are

  5. I feel like Anaheim will regret that yes it might be less expensive now but if he continue on his current trajectory it will cost them way more in 3 years

  6. I like how Verbeek was as tough as he could be. I think it's a win that they didnt go long term at a higher amount. More teams need to sign shorter term deals.

  7. I think Zegras is overrated but still has 100 point season potential and 5.75million is a steal.

  8. Ducks are absolutely going to be kicking themselves for that Zegras contract in three years. By which I mean, kicking themselves that they didn't sign him for longer. I'm no Zegras fan, but I recognize a good player when I see him, and if Ducks had locked him down for eight years, him and Terry would've been their next Getzlaf & Perry. But now, in three years, they're going to either have to pay him out of their asses, or lose him. Likely lose him. If I was a player and I knew my team basically leveraged my RFA status to force me into accepting a lowball offer as a young player, there's no way in hell I would sign with them again.

I mean for fucks sakes, he put up 65 points in a team that had a whole TWO players with more than 50 points last season. If he had any offensive help, he'd have 30+60 easy.

  9. Interesting the Kings chose to lose Fagemo that easily. He was a goal scorer and good finisher off the rush, at least in Juniors and pretty good in the AHL. Maybe he isn't that great after all.

  10. Fagemo is a very interesting grab by the Preds! That guy has goals in him.

    The pronounciation though! 😂

  11. I have a feeling the Ducks are going to regret not offering up more for longer on Zegras. Like 7-8m for 7-8 years. Look what Caufield and Robert Thomas got just to name a few. If he becomes a point per game player which is highly likely and most definitlyy if they get some players around him then they will be paying him 10m+ in 3 years. Heck a point per game player now is 8m or more and the cap is going up like 4-5m next year plus the additional years. They are going to be paying out the rear.

  12. I'm glad we signed Z now and it's all over now. I was starting to think that maybe he isn't worth it. Let's just hope he makes some big strides these next couple years, especially on defense.

  13. 3 for 5.75 is fair. In 3 years, even if Z doesn't pan out, it's not going to handcuff them in terms of salary cap. If Z does pan out, yeah, he'll want 10 a season.
