  1. Primeau, Ylonen, Pezzetta stay (they cannot be waived now till after the season starts), Armia out. Yaa hoo!! Primeau or Allen getting traded? Norlinder should stay over Barron (do we trade Barron?). Heineman will be a stud in Laval and be back this season.

  2. I Had predicted it , you know why because the kids who can send back to Laval with no waiver have been sent to Laval and because Brendan Gallagher has a No Movement Clause on his contract preventing hin to be sent to Laval. Joel Armia is paid a lot 3,4M$ this discourage any team to claim him for a 4th line players. The next one will be Tanner Pearson. 3,25 M$. Vancouver try to get rid of him for nothing. he did not work.

For me the real surprise is they did not protect #27 Gustav Lindström (24yr) (RD) a guy acquired in the #46 Jeff Petry (RD) Deal to Détroit. His age 24 years olds and a decent salary 950 000$ USD can be more tempting for another team who struggle to get RD.

  3. Think Jake Allen will end up on waivers before 20 games into the season

  4. Armia on waivers is great. Hope someone picks him up, although it's doubful at 3.5 mill a season.

  5. Slafkovsky has not improved he still gets bullied by smaller players and knocked off his feet too easily. He can't pass he can't protect the puck all he is good for is hanging around the front of the net hoping other players can do all th ework and feed him with a goal mouth pass.
This is the laughable part about fanbois every time they see a goal it is like WHOA he played so good !
I still have not seen a single sign any of the forwards know how to back check properly still seeing points left wide open and cycles lasting too long because of it.
Bottom line is this team still plays like a bottom dweller.

  6. Slaf and Nick both have extremely high IQs, and both want to win with the Habs. Gotta respect and love that.

  7. What is really hilarious is excuses fly "it's only pre season" but when it is something possible it is like WHOA did you see those stats .These are not true hockey analysis these are fanbopis reactions.

  8. As soon as he did that lazy play in the 3rd period to get a penalty at a dumb time against a C player i said right away this is the play that's gonna get him on waivers. Signed sealed and delivered

  9. Armia is dead weight and being so bad that he made the team worse. I don't hate him at all. He's just injury prone and just not good enough. It was the right move.

  10. Juraj was playing great, he still has a big reserve, when he starts using everything it will be great, I like the communication with Kubalik from Czechia at the beginning face-off, they can understand both, becouse slovak language and czech language are close 🙂 Good job whole team, they played better than Ottawa, but those awful two cheap goals from Ottawa almost cost Montreal the victory 🙂

  11. Why shocking geting rid of Haffman Armia Edmondson Pitlik Montreal just got better by at least 15 points 😊

  12. As far as Nick's improvement at face-offs, he did say that he was hampered by a nagging injury for most of last year. Maybe he's bnetter because whatever was bugging him is no longer a problem.

  13. I will always be sad Armia did not work out… his career reminds me of Ellar a lot of potential but so many bad finishes

  14. Waiving Armia will save 1m, but it means they need to replace his roster spot with another player, who will likely cost 1m…this really means they don’t want Armia anywhere near this team.

  15. About Emil Heineman, that guy will be a great player one day . Also the Legend of Arber Xhekaj grows , shot through the net and it was a bomb , I heard Arber Xhekaj saved Chuck Norris life once 😂😂

  16. Primeau has has years of opportunity and it seems each time he's been called upon in Montreal he does his deer in the headlights nervous wreck act and gets shelled. Not saying a goaltender can't be nervous, Glenn Hall was famous for puking his guts up before every game but he played, remarkably in the era of no masks and single goaltender.
    End of the Primeau experiment??
