  1. Ngl I’m pretty down on this team. I wouldn’t be shocked if they fall out of the top 3 spots.

  2. I watch the devils vs rangers preseason game in Newark it was awful I took off my rangers jersey and cheered for the devils the rangers were bad and it wasn’t like a no effort preseason thing

  3. Laf never rejected playing right wing, Gallant wouldn't play him there. Laf has been wanting to play RW to get more minutes all of last year.

  4. Should the Rangers fan be worry that Laviolette has already give up on Lafrenière ? I mean, year 1 Laviolette is usually good, but that soon is odd…How was Kakko in camp ? The key is on those 2, either through development or trade cause the rest is more of the same that works…Good luck Rangers fans, with that level of team you deserve better !!

  5. They way you guys talk about Laf compared to everyone else from that draft is actually insane. If you pay attention to the way Laf has been used by Quinn and then Gallant is criminal. Any other team with a 1OA pick or even a top 5 or arguably a top 10 pick immediately puts said player into a spot for them to succeed where Laf has had an uphill battle no matter which way you cut it AND NOW he’s being asked to play on his off wing. Also, Kakko needs more respect put on his name in here. He arguably can still show more but Kakko has proven that he is a solid two way player that I really genuinely think that could be a Selkie candidate if people ever voted for wingers.

  6. Laf has the 2nd most even strength goals for NYR In the past 2 years. That and all reports are that he was willing to play RW, but Galant vetoed it to keep him off the PP, and on the 3rd line. If I am misinformed, please direct me to a source that corrects me.

  7. You guys remember Adam Fox throwing a tiff and refusing to sign with Calgary AND Carolina? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

  8. Jesse on that strong copium… it's gonna be a loooooong season for us NYR fans

  9. Kakko is the one playing up the lineup and due for a breakout season after a great camp and preseason. Laf already blew it

  10. Laff never said he didn't want the RW, Gallant wouldn't let him get used to it and the first mistake he put him back on 3LW . Lavy is trying everything to make Laff 1RW or 2RW work. Kakko is likely playing the 1RW out the gate.
