Not thrilled about it vastly exceeding the cost of NHL.tv, but there’s finally a way to stream games legitimately without a cable bill.

  2. Local NHL games for half the price of the entire NFL package? And doesnā€™t include all the games Iā€™m guessing? What a joke.

This plan includes all local (aka non-national ESPN or TNT) games for the Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, and Go-Go. If you only care about the Caps you can subscribe monthly October-April for a total of $140.

You have to be located within the Caps’ local market area to watch games on it which is basically anywhere where you could get NBCSW/Monumental through a cable plan. If you’re outside the local area (say, living in New Jersey) then you can keep using ESPN+ which is both cheaper and includes tons of other games from around the NHL.

They have apps for iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV.

This is unfortunately completely useless to those of us that are out of market. šŸ˜
