Higher return for Boqvist, but I still think Peeke will be the one dealt.
Boqvist is only 23 and has a much higher upside. Also with the off-season moves you don’t need Peekes skill set nearly as much as you did.
Boq for Shesterkin and they have to take Elvis with him.
This is one of those moves where the player will go on to continue developing into a primo 2nd pairing dman and the teams fans will be like “lol we robbed the jackets for a second round pick (best case return)”. I get it though with Blankenberg/jirieck being ready to be here and more dmen prospects in the near future.
I feel like we’ll regret trading Boqvist if he’s the guy.

Peeke or Bean would be preferable. They’re both too good to be 7th D and Peeke certainly deserves to go to a team that can pay him and play him.
We have 7 D-men on the roster and everyone know Z, Severson, Provy and Gudy aren’t going anywhere. So how many more CBJ fans are going to proudly announce that they’ve figured out it must be Bean, Boqy, or Peeker? 🤣
I’d allow Boqvist and Elvis for Adam Fox and Igor
Boqvist (age 23) makes $2.6M this year and next. Bean (age 25) is $2.333M on an expiring deal this year. Peeke (age 25) is $2.75M for 3 years.
Depending on the trade partner’s cap situation, Bean might be more likely to get moved because of his expiring deal, if that’d help free up the recipient’s cap space next year.
