    How many times did we hear that Scheifele was one of the main reasons why the team culture was so poor, and now he's staying for 8 more years?

    Well its sure going to be Interesting to see Winnipeg Jets this year :). I'd rather pay Mark 8,5M for 7 years instead of PLD for even a year as Kings will get stuck with him in Box. Guy can score over 40 goals so should be fine with that contract. Even if he fades they can still trade him retain half salary for 4.25M. Connor is something they wont be able to move on from so will be stuck unless he gets on the LTIR vacation like Price ;). If anything I think Connor was not worth his current cap so getting a raise makes team unable to compete. Going to have to change Defense as can't be paying Dillon like 3M or guys like Pionk or Schmidt or even Demelo or so. Morrisey is like only guy worth keeping for sure. I know they got some size but that guys is maybe in AHL or fringe 7th D-man. I can't even think of his name ATM Hehe. Retooling instead of REbuilding.

    Glad Jets are keeping both guys in the now so don’t lose #1 goalie and #1 center to free agency or not get equal value in a trade. I’m not buying in on rebirth of Scheifele because he got paid. Hoping for the best with him for next couple of years. Pump the brakes on both being in Peg for career. Neither guy got a full no move clause in contract. Will be here for 3 -4 years but then who knows. Wish someone would of at least mentioned the 10 team no trade clauses on show today
