Dave Brown vs Clark Gillies & Bob Nystrom pusses out
It’s clear as day neither Gillies or Nystrom want any part of Brown, as Brown is a vastly superior fighter. To top it off, Nystrom completely embarrasses himself.
Not sure why any storm didn’t fight Hospodar. As a Ranger Hospodar turtled many times frustrating Bobby. Would have loved to watch Bobby take out the poser.
I didn't see Gillies puss out of anything. Isles proved their mettle against the Bruins and Flyers in 1980. Flyers were a great team, had won the President's trophy that year.
Dave Brown was lucky throughout his career. The one thing he had going for him was his height and range. That said, he only threw from his natural left. Probert showed him he was the new sheriff in town by clocking him good… and that's the point… Brown always surprised potential opponents by throwing cheap shots and wore those loose jerseys. And basically, he was a true one trick pony… practically never scored a goal and so was useless otherwise as a hockey player on the ice!
Another typical move which the Flyers pull is—something real tough men do, of course—attempting to, or, actually acting out, headbutting their opponent who are, at times, without a helmet.
I do not like the Flyers at all but Nystrom wanted no part of Brown..Brown was a different level fighter than Nystrom..Brown hurt people..Nystrom,not so much..

brown should have jumped them like he usually does
How did Nystrom puss out. The headline must be from a guy who was still sore about Bobby N. game winner for the cup.
Nystrom seemed scared to fight Brown.
I’m sure Brown jumped Gillies
Islanders knocked out Flyers and they still have not recovered
Brown pussed out
I saw yellow on the ice under Brown. He pissed himself

Dave Brown was nothing more than a thug. A big time POS like most other Flyers were back then.
Nystrom wanted no part of those infamous Dave Brown’s left haymakers.
New Breed of tough guys arrived. Gillies and Nystrom were no match. Happens to all of them.

Seemed ?
Flyers are one of the dirtiest reams and most overrated bunch of female fighters in the NHL.
linesman Kevin Collins makes me want to puke
Gee, i wonder why Nystrom didn't drop his stick and fight Brown…lol
Bob Nystrom pusses out, I didn't see that. Bobby Nystrom wouldn't back down to anybody, win or lose. He was one tough SOB & so was Clark Gillies.
Stupid, stupid comment about Nystrom from somebody who clearly knows nothing about the history of fighting in the NHL.
Barry Beck will calm Brown down.

Bobby NY never ever pussed out, wake up cupcake
Note: Earlier in the game, Brown was swinging his stick at Nystrom. That's why Nystrom did it to Brown.
Watch out Clark he will jump you from behind!
LOL @ Nystrom pussing out. Sounds like a whiney a** flyers fan who still hasn't recovered from Nystrom beating the flyers in game 6.
Patterson head butting

Nystrom would clean Browns clock
Nystrom looked like such a coward, much like Ken Linseman in refusing to drop his stick in a confrontation on the ice.
Patterson was so dirty with the constant head butting! Douchebag.
Nystrom with his stick up. Never saw him do that
