Last year the Habs won game one. We were in Montreal thou….. So we should win….. Right?
I hope the goal song is 50 mission cap by the tragically hip… A Canadian club deserves a Canadian tune! What better song for a goal song, than a song created from a hockey card… About a real life iconic goal scored in overtime that won the leafs the Stanley Cup. Was originally just a sound check where Gord opened a pack of hockey cards, & the 1st card he looked at from back of pack was a Bill Barilko card, & he just started singing the back of the card,,,, the bandmates liked it, played with it, & eventually became this great song Leafs fan's know & love.
