Decent improvement
I’m not sure that I see him as a perennial first-liner. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I think it falls short of the expectation that management, and especially the fans currently have. The immense pressure that the kid is under, definitely isn’t helping his confidence. As far as a ‘redraft’ a few years down the road, I believe Simon Nemec has a very good chance at being considered first overall.

Playing devils advocate; saying he showed potential during the Sens preseason game isnt saying much. That game the Sens didnt play any of their top 6F or top 4D so it was more or less Montreal Vs Belleville Senstors.
Investing now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today. The Inflation is killing me prices is killing us all. The money made is not enough to sort everything out and the family. What we need is a lucrative business or investment. And I just did and very proud I did!!🇨🇦

Let him cook… can't wait for him to prove all the haters calling him a bust now wrong! I think he will have much better year that the last one if he manages to stay healthy.
I think Slaf will have a decent season, there’s no need for him to aim for perfection when the team is nowhere near being a contender anyways. Let the kid grow into what we hope he can be. I know preseason is just preseason but if he continues to play and grow at that rate, then he’ll be a great asset later on. There’s no way he’s going to be the same as last year’s point production.. to be fair 30+ points isn’t far fetched for him to hit. At least it’s a trend in the right direction even if he only hits 20-30pts.
