Gonna come down to goaltending if the Flames see a postseason. I think it was 7 or 8 games against markstrom where he let in the first shot of the game… maybe 12 or so games where it was within the first 4 shots or so he allowed a goal. His slow starts and our team’s lacklustre ot play, crushed us last year.
I like the “underdog” mentality for this team. That’s easier stress to deal with rather than high expectations… and the heavy road game start should be good for cohesion with the “new look” club.
