The Dallas Stars played two more preseason games over the weekend. Jason Robertson won the game in OT vs the Blues, and despite a come from behind effort against the Avalanche, the Stars fell 4-3 in OT. Nils Lundkvist played outstanding, Scott Wedgewood had a good night in between the pipes and young guys like Matej Blumel, Logan Stankoven and Mavrik Bourque created multiple chances. The roster continues to take shape and who will force their way into the opening night lineup before its all said and done.

I believe Roope's injury is an upper body and is still skating. No worries
I’m on board with Stanky starting in the A. He is definitely NHL ready, but let him dominate and be a leader in the A first for a bit, he is captain material so groom him as such. Not to say he’ll get the C over others but that doesn’t matter, he’s the real deal and should not be rushed.
What’s going on with Jake Oettinger?? I haven’t seen him on the ice 🧊 yet. I think the Colorado Avalanche are gonna be a tough team this year. I’m hoping for a stronger defense and better in OT situations especially 3 on 3. Dallas seems to have a lot of goalie depth plus Oettinger. How long is the preseason in the NHL??
