  1. He will be fine I liked enough of what I seen out of Devon Witherspoon and the confidence is there to be a corner in the national football league so seeing him grow and get even more confident in what he’s seeing out there, he will be just fine.

  2. I thought he looked like he was lost most of the time and struggling to catch up. He looked much more like a rookie than a future HoFer.

  3. Really rooting for spoon and I trust John and Pete..the second the ball gets past a DT, throw or run, they become irrelevant

  4. I was impressed, the the only big thing he gave up was the flea flicker but the best corners get beat with those

  5. Spoon was one of our best defensive players that game only td he gave up was a flea flicker which beats the best of Cbs so he will be just fine for our future

  6. Compare the 17th pick in the draft, CB Christian Gonzalez's PFF and stats to Spoon's. There is a reason to be concerned

  7. Played pretty well. Especially considering it was his first nfl game and he missed most of training camp and all of preseason.

  8. Idk why people are trying to judge him based on his FIRST nfl game😂😂

    1. He had one bad play. He is a rookie and it was his first ever game. MANY great players have had bad first game and even had bad first seasons.

    2. Excluding the flea flicker he had a great game. Multiple times he read the play and stopped the lions from gaining any yards after the catch. I can’t think of any other play where I thought of spoon as the reason the lions were able to get a big gain.

He even was the one who stopped a throw on 4th down and it was a huge momentum change for the game. The dude is doing great.

Just chill and let him play a season or two before trying to decide on if he was a bad pick over Carter or not😂😂

  9. I am happy to hear coach point out tre brown. I havent liked what I have seen from him on the field so far this year. The interception wasn't some fantastic play made by tre brown. It was thrown right to him. That int is on GOFF. The sack is a play call, and tre brown executed. But it wasn't some incredible play only tre brown could have made. Tre Brown seems frantic on the field, like he's continuously out of position and trying to catch up. I can't say WHY this is the case, but he looks like he's the player on the field every opposing offense should be targeting right now.

  10. Wow, reading these comments it sounds like a flea flicker is pretty much a sure thing, I wonder why more teams don't just run flea flickers when they need a touchdown
