I’ve given up with the Panthers power play. Always with the cute shit. Overpassing.
What a bummer but 81 games left !!
It’s just not a coincidence that they keep getting goalied with 40+ sog every 3 games. Been a problem since forever it seems like lol.
Got goalies not great,but also not that unexpected. Heck chucky had 10 sog 🙄. On to the next game,and the defense seem ok so far. Go Cats
Three things:
1) Great to be back for another year of Panthers hockey! Excited to see what the team will do this year.
2) Oh my gosh the Intro was hilarious! The auditions with the puppets cracked me up. The look on yours and Kyle's face made me laugh too. I love it. Great job. 🙂
3) Tough loss for the Panthers tonight. Obviously that was not the way to start the new season. At the same time, me being the optimist, that I am, at least it's only one game. 81 games to go. They'll learn from this and win the next ones. It's still early.

Defence aside, finishing is a Big issue on this team. Lacking a proper killer sniper. Accuracy is another issue – it's an individual thing, but scalable to the whole team. Mackie was the best forward with intent. Yes, Mikkola and Kulikov look like the worst pair so far

Gustavsson give him credit, has become a damn good goaltender, it’s almost like the John Gibson effect where he was just playing behind bad Ottawa teams.
You can lose a game as a result of your bad play, or it can be that the other team beats you because of their play. The Panthers excuted well: Minn had a hot goalie and some luck. It will happen sometimes. I thought the replay on the Minn PP goal made you realize that Bobs had to move left and that his positioning was actually correct. And Minn got lucky bounce. No wurries. The intro with the puppets singing Panthers songs was HILARIOUS!
