Eye test really checks out with these advanced stats for those bottom 4 players here.

Not Seiders best game, good effort against a Stanley cup level team.

  3. Honestly Ghost and Raymond looked awesome so this tracks. Also think Mo and Perron were pretty bad tonight. In the middle of feels less relevant tho.

This feels validating after watching the game. Perron, Petry, Chiarot stuck in the mud all day.

Holl looked fantastic to me. I saw one really dumb giveaway, but was otherwise a solid, smart player.
I thought Chiarot was good tonight as well.

DeBrincat showed UP today. Most active player on line one and boy what a snipe! Most exciting moment of the game, and right on the heels of Mo’s drive to keep the puck in was perfect.

Ahhh, back to the tradition of trying to figure out if advanced stats actually correlate with what happened on the ice.

Surprised to see people saying Seider looked bad. He looked fine to me, and was probably just hurt by being on the ice so much. As is often the case with these stats. Ice time can be all the difference between a 4th liner being at the top and a star at the bottom.

I dont remember ever thinking Holl fucked up. Which is a win for me Id say

Passes the eye test. I thought Petry looked awful out there and Mo didn’t look engaged.

    hopefully Edvinsson/Wallinder are ready soon

Perron and Petry were both extremely painful to watch. Both taking two penalties each which costed us a goal. Hope Lalonde cracks the whip on them to tighten up. Will grant that a couple of those penalties were kind of weak but those refs called everything last night no matter how little.

Seider looked pretty off on his game but I’m chocking that up to first game back and needing to get a but more back into it

Might be a dumb question but how do they measure offensive and defensive impact?
