I think leafs need is top 4 right hand side D-man to play with Morgan Reily and right side on defense in general and the net is a question mark if Samsonov and woll can do the job out of the 3 goalies Martin Jones was the best Goalie in preseason with 0.935% save percentage.

A trade rumor that I readed today as the leafs send Timothy Lijegren and Calle Jรคrnkrok and 3rd round pick in 2024 and 5th round pick in 2024 that the pick the leafs got from Canucks and Nick Robinson to the sharks for Mario Ferraro at 1.75m for 2 years for leafs and sharks eat 500k of Mario Ferraro cap hit and Kevin Labanc at 1.75M cap hit for leafs and sharks eat 3M of Kevin Labanc cap hit and leafs send T.J brode and 1st round pick in 2024 and 3rd round pick in 2025 and 4th round pick in 2024 to coyote for Josh Brown and juuso valimaki. If true or not we will see?

Youve got to keep in mind Bertuzzi has never played a full 82 game season yet. He has serious injury problems with the way he plays. IF Bertuzzi can somehow stay healthy he can get 25. I can guarentee that was one of the reasons Bertuzzi didnt get that big contract we were all expecting him to get. Teams want to see him actually play a full 82 game season and see what he can do for a whole season before they commit to a 6-7 year deal at 7-8Million for this guy. I guarentee you if he had played 82 games in the last 2 season he would have got that 7×7 or 7×8 contract

Murrey had bi-latteral hip replacement … which ususally is both hips are being replaced … either way, his nhl career is done.
There are people you think Keefe is a sub-standard NHL coach. His record is 166-71-30 in the regular season, so rather impressive actually. I think Treliving looked at a lot of game recordings & related breakdown by Leaf staff, coming to the conclusion this is a top 5 NHL team, so what's the upside to trading a star player unless it will improve the team. He obviously didn't think Keefe was the problem after prolonged meetings to get to know him & extended him shortly thereafter. Are they the right decisions? We'll find out when they play the actual games.
My view is Bertuzzi & Domi bring offence with some bite & Minten/Knies/Jarnkrok could be a really solid 3rd line. If Bertuzzi & Domi play decent D, then the forward group is better than last year imo. I don't know what to make of Klingberg or Reaves to date, so until the 20 game mark is reached, the jury is out for me. Hoping for the best, as usual.

Good preview! Bogosian was pretty clear on his way out of town that he won't play in Canada again after the way covid played out and the difficulty of being separated from his family.

Yes I like the additions of Bertuzzi, Domi & Reaves and Iโm looking forward to seeing a full season of Knies, but itโs on the core players to STEP UP when itโs time to step up. And stop getting your doors kicked in by bottom feeders. I also canโt get past that terrible goal song they keep rolling with. That tells me they have the same identity. That song is associated with nothing but failure. It sounds like something minions and ballerinas would walk out to. And until further notice, it reflects the Leafs perfectly

Nick Robertson not being on the team really bothers me, besides that though wow Knies, Domi and Bertuzzi on the team this year sure beats all of those years with Kerfoot, Hyman and Bunting
