  1. My prediction is that the Leafs claim Bogosian from Tampa (as long as he makes it to the Leafs) and that Tampa claims Jones. Leafs sign Noah Gregor to a contract of 856,884. They would be at exactly 83.5m cap with a 21 man roster.

    Bert-Matthews-Marner

    Domi-Tavares-Nylander

    Knies-Minten-Jarnkrok

    Gregor-Kampf-Reaves

    Rielly-Brodie

    McCabe-Klingberg

    Gio-lily

    Bogosian

that's my starting night roster prediction 🙂 – Although I can see Dubas claiming Bogosian as well. So he may not make it to the Leafs.

  2. I readed a trade rumor that leafs send Timothy Lijegren and Calle Järnkrok and 1st round pick in 2024 and 3rd round pick in 2024 and 5th round pick in 2024 that leafs just got from Canucks and a prospect player to the sharks for Mario Ferraro a 1.75m for 2 year and sharks to eat 500k of cap hit and Logan Courture 35% cap hit for leafs that 2.8m for 4 years. Nick Robinson or Ty Volt maybe in trade rumor go to the Sharks too and the leafs are on the list of teams that LoganCourture is willing to go and has a 3 team trade list . if it true or not we will see.

  3. Totally "on brand" for the modern day Leafs. Once again, almost all the players grabbed at the trade deadline as the GM sacrificed the future have been dealt aways for nothing or lost to free agency. Even when the GM is switched out, the trend continues. A fifth?? Wasn't there a bag of used pucks they could have gotten, as well. Just terrible player management by this organization. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

  4. As far as wondering why Vancouver would give up a 5th rd pick, its probably because they are confident that they can just flip him for a slightly better pick at the trade deadline.

  5. It's too bad they had to lose him. Loved his speed and penalty kill. Cap hit was very reasonable. Just another cap dump because our star players need more money. Other star players take less money to help the their teams surround them with better players and won cups. Nope not Toronto. Same old same old.

  6. Lafferty throws hits and was a good asset on the PK. They need more of that so I don’t understand why they didn’t keep guys like Acciari and Lafferty. Would have rather kicked Jarnkrok to the curb
