Hey Jon, glad to have hockey back. Lafreniere hasn't been given the vote of confidence with the management by not only giving him the left wing in a prominent role. If they don't have confidence in him, how can he as a player have confidence in himself? I think we need to see how he plays and what role Laviolette gives him. But you know how passionate we get lol. Let's go Rangers!

Is he in the doghouse? No idea. Should he be? Well, if what you said about his play during the preseason is true, then absolutely.
I get the impression from watching the show that he's been outworked by not only the younger kids, but by Kakko.
i like that third line idea with goodrow, fil, and laffy.
Just the Rangers luck to get the 1st pick in the draft and he turns into a 3rd line guy…ugh
I get that Laf started his career during the pandemic lockdown and as a young kid being left isolated in New York would be tough, but since then I haven't seen enough from him to suggest he was the number 1 draft pick.
Draft a player that played LW his entire career, give him little play time with veteran players, give him zero playing time on the PP, change his position, give him 3 different coaches in 4 years, disrespect him by not offering him a contract sooner. That’s why the Rangers can’t develop anyone, they don’t understand how much opportunity a player needs to build confidence. All the talk about Laffy not looking good in preseason…what about Mika, Krieder and Bread? Mika is a one trick pony that needs a PP like Krieder to get points. What a bunch of horse 💩.
