  1. Gio where are the Leafs in the money department?
Last I checked not enough unless they include Nylander or Marner
In a package deal for Miller, he isn't going to the 6 sorry to burst your bubble.

  2. I wouldn't give You Topi Niemela if you gave me Hughes Petterson Miller Boeser Demko and a first I would trade Marner before I even think about trading Topi

  3. Dumba, Jason and Nick Robertson. Filipinos storming the league!🇵🇭🔥

  4. Another wasted comment on no trade with Toronto. Huge win win for Toronto if it happens, but it is not Benning in the seat anymore. Don't think they would trade for a box of crackers. That would be an awful trade. Vancouver wants to get better and win. Basically Liljegren is the only one with a potential higher ceiling. Giving away Miller and Schenn could put the Canucks in a place where next year a possible 7-8th draft pick because that is how far they could fall in the standings. No toughness once Schenn and Miller are gone. And another thing is Vancouver has to many small guys right now. I still say you cannot win with to many small guys. The teams that win the Cup win with size. Of course they have talent also. It is a dream that article. And Timathy is still a question mark to me. He is still new and unproven. Trade a bunch of guys who could just end up average players. For two good players. Think Vancouver has to look past the Leafs.

  5. Toronto's window for taking a run for the cup is narrowing.. they need to 'buy all in' for next season, so getting Miller makes sense for some prospect… and it makes sense for the Canucks to pick up some valuable young assets since they are lacking that… win-win trade if I ever heard of one.

  6. If that's what they get back for Miller….The Leafs trash…..Ruthaford needs to be FIERD! The Leafs NO NOT HAVE the assists to get J.T. It's not happening.

  7. I cannot say this enough times…

NO!!! There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that the canucks should retain a single dollar of that sallary. A 99 point player for 5 mill is already the best bargin in the nhl

If anyone is retaining salary it would HAVE to be the team who receives JT Miller

  8. Horrible trade for Miller… way more teams with more to offer Canucks and fill there needs… Colorado, Montreal, New Jersey, New York, Carolina…. But hey that’s just my opinion…. How bout Boeser for Boldy and Faber ? Lol

  9. A late first round pick at best and more leaf garbage players? Guess garlands not going to kings now and rangers are interested in Dubois so miller's out. Pens going to get jt and Myers for Marino and a 2nd rounder.

  10. Maybe in NHL 22 the leafs could trade for Miller moron article

The leafs literally have Peter Marazek as there starting goalie at this moment and still people talk about this trade as if has a chance at happening

Also Toronto is by far the team with the least amount to offer the Canucks for Miller
both gm & president scouted & drafted John Marino plus most of Pittsburgh’s prospects so if Miller is getting moved its at the draft and its to Pittsburgh who needs a player like him & can sign him since Malkin is probably gone

So shut up leaf fans with this trade cuz you don’t even have a starting goalie rn

  11. leafs got nothing canucks want. Canucks should go after high draft pick and blue chip prospects. JT miller is 99 point player playing on the second line on a crappy canucks still on a cheap contract. Miller is money and teams should show canucks the money.

  12. Toronto's window for the cup is now. If the Canucks retain a couple of million for Miller and get Lilligren, Knies and a 22 1st and 23 2nd and maybe a 24 4th then I say do the deal unless some other team offers more.

  13. Liljegren and Robertson both do not equal the value of Miller, and if the Canucks have to absorb half of his salaries for this year to give the Leafs a last-ditch attempt to win the Cup? I think the Canucks would need to get quite a bit more in return for this deal to make sense.

  14. This is fans of Toronto trying to buy their way to a cup. If JT gets traded he is gone to the best offer and T.O. dosnt have what it takes.

  15. luke is a delusional homer writer.. ya lets take your crap scraps for a 99 point gritty playoff type player that is captain material.. like seriously man, just stop already, its so embarassing.. the leafs have nothing the canucks would want

  16. The leafs need Lily as he is a young right shot defenceman. Something the leafs have none of. Sandin, Robertson, Engvall Mrazek and Holl sounds like a good deal for Vancouver. 😂

  17. $2.5million on a one year deal is a steal. Bargain basement. Absolutely…. unless we have to give up the farm to do it. I keep going back to the Leafs trading a first round pick to Columbus for Foligno and what did that do for us exactly? Exactly nothing. So yes, getting Miller for $2.5million or so is a bargain but thats just the money. Someone down below suggested five roster players. That leaves too many gaps to fill with Toronto's bad cap crunch. I'd love to have Miller but I keep wondering who we could have picked in that draft…. which we got zero return.

  18. For a future Hall of Famer like Miller we should get all of Toronto’s best prospects and 4 first round draft picks

And maybe 3 more second round draft picks.
Since Luke Schenn is involved in the deal that’s at a discount price for Toronto since other teams are probably offering more.

    To Toronto:
    Miller
    Schenn

    To Vancouver:
    Knies
    Niemala
    Robertson
    Sandin
    Kerfoot
    4 first round picks
    3 second round picks

    Thanks
