howdy shannon , from az. ,,our coyotes are a mixed bag , young guys with some experienced guys in the mix ,but i think they will be fun to watch ,i'm just looking for them to play hard every shift every game , and when the dust settles, let the chips fall where they may , tonite was certainly a nice surprise !

Fun game, Malkin looking epic.
Crosby and Malkin don't understand how time works. They're supposed to be slowing down in their late 30's. These guys don't look like they're ready to retire anytime soon. They're inas good shape and motivated as they ever were. If the Pens miss the playoffs again it won't be their faults. They need their dept scoring to show up.
I really dont like to be negative but as a lifelong Caps fan I couldn't be less excited for this season and I'm sad about it
The Yotes played with lots of heart and it was amazing to see. They might finally actually start getting better and build a loyal fanbase.
I hope McBain will one time yell out "Mendozaaaaaaa!" during his career.

Pens powerplay looking dangerous 👀
Pens look to be getting more comfortable with their new players. Malkin,Crosby, and Guentzel had a huge night. Smitty and Karlsson are gonna do really well here. Pressure is off Letang. I think this may be a huge year for him.
This will be a rough year for Ovi. He didn’t look a day under 40. The Karlsson hit was just the tip of the iceberg taking ages to get up

I don’t advertise it much but the coyotes are my second favourite team (#1 is the pens) just always loved arizona jerseys growing up, Cooley might be the best player I’ve ever seen suit ip for the yotes

Arizona has put together a nice roster this year. It's going to be fun watching them.
One thing that only occurred to me on their powerplay in the third, was that the Caps #1 PP unit was more or less the same PP unit they had when they won the cup. Felt like I was watching a game in 2018 while then Pens were killing that penalty.

Washington looks really old and the pens look like they are just starting to get cohesive together and make another run! I don’t think Washington makes the playoffs. Once the penguins figure out how to use Karlson they will be hard to beat.

The Devils need to play better early. Back to back slow starts, this time it bit them. Also, if the refs missed a blatant trip by Arizona about 30 seconds prior to the one in overtime. Either call it both times or not at all

Capitals need to score from the early jump they got to in the game, they were buzzing for the first 10-15 minutes but nothing went in for them. It was all down hill after that
NJ played flat and sloppy. Arizona was a surprise, and their goalie was hot tonight. They deserve the points. But regardless, the officiating in that game was piss poor. I want to see Smith sat, and Nemec in the line up.

I can't believe the Coyotes beat NJD, a top 3 team in the league. Honestly, outside of taking all those penalties in the 2nd period, Arizona dominated this game.

Good for the Yotes. Scrappy young group. Probably not making the playoff ls, but they will be a challenge for any team who thinks they’ll be an easy W on the schedule.
