  1. imagine trading away dylan guenther for garland just to get rid of him in less than a year.

  2. Kings aren't trading for Garland, they do not want to part with their 1st rd picks or top prospects. They checked in on Garland last summer but decided on Arvidsson instead. They also don't want to trade Turcotte unless it's for a LHD with term and mid 20's age range.

  3. Turcotte for Garland? No way LA goes for this. This would be a steal for Vcr.

  4. This is an interesting trade scenario. Garland is on a reasonable contract, is still relatively young and can energize any line you stick him on. Turcotte is a high potential player as he went 5th overall in 2019 and had a great 2019 campaign. But his offensive stats have been lower then you would have wanted to see since being drafted.

  5. I told you no way are you guys going to be able to dump Brock his contract is untraceable you guys are just going to cut him period you won’t recoup anything of value no way you get Alex I am sure he is untouchable If he was Available the Kings need defenseman and the Rangers have that in spades I am sure we would trade Bradsn Schneider for him much more attractive than somebody making over $5 and not producing like JT is that letter probably gets issued on Tuesday

  6. It's gonna take Turcotte and a pick, likely a first. Garland is a steal at his contract, I can't believe anyone is willing to move him before Boeser or Miller (love Millsy, but what are we gonna do, sign him to an 8×8? Buddy's gonna be past his prime and looking for a pay day, as he should. Let someone else pay him.)

  7. I’d do it.

Trade Boeser and Miller while were at it.
    Miller for Schneider.
    Boeser for picks.

  8. Boeser's skating is one of the reasons the Canucks are slow. I'd rather see him go than Garland.

  9. If Yzerman was so inclined to move the pick with Turcotte available, I have to at least double think it based on that. Now with 3 years passed if anything it's leaning more towards it being right to question it.

  10. Keep Garland, he's got some skill and very shifty and hard to play against. Almost like a Gallagher before his big contract.

  11. Brock needs to grow up, get off that high horse and get with "real hockey" ,not just when he feels like it.

  12. Kings arent going to trade Byfield, Kaliyev, Clarke, Turcotte, Durzi, or Spence. Every other prospect is probably available. They should be willing to trade their first for Garland

  13. I'm not disappointed with Turcotte. He fits what the Kings are deveopling. They have higher scoring projects. They need good 2 way players as well.

If you just look at points you're not looking at the big picture. You're looking at building from a fantasy league mentality and who gets the most points.

Good teams build from all areas of the ice and don't just look at scoring metrics to evaluate worth.
