Well thats 3 Players and 1 Coach who are all slap-happy about how they played…but we just waffled away 4 important 2024 Regular Season points which we need to buy a Playoff Ticket….I am not so happy. We could not possibly open 2024 with a long losing streak unless we first open it with a short losing streak….what exactly are you guys building here a Bridge to the Cotton-Candy Machine. Mathews has outscored the Oilers 6-4 so far.
Same as last year our defence has the same issues. You have to be harder in front of your own net it’s how we lost to Vegas. Bouchard just passing it to no one multiply times didn’t help… Stanley cup contenders let’s play some good solid defence first.. then we can talk.
Such a laid back casual attitude, I’d never admit I’m going to let in four on sixteen if I was a goalie I’d have the attitude that I’m stopping everything. Oilers need a number one goalie and I don’t think skinny is it? We will see but I had the same feeling last year. We need a goalie that played like desmith tonight.

Disorganized play, no finishers, crap D, Nurse needs to give 4.25 mil back so the team can buy out Kulak and Ceci and get some good young D guys while trading both goalies and getting someone young and hungry! I'm obviously not the GM but Holland had better be on the phone trying to find a way to not let 4 goals in on every goalie, every game!
I really like Stuart however saying stats for a gosling don’t matter…well. Sure they don’t show things like ripped shots and 2 on 0. However, GAA and save % are pretty good indicators considering the amount of tipped goals and 2 on 0 you get in a season. W-L for a goalie, sure does not hold much weight when you lose 1-0 or 2-1 and face a lot of shots. Just like a starting pitchers W-L record, to me means nothing if they leave the game and your team is only losing by 1 or 2 runs and end up losing 3 innings later.

As a canucks fan very entertaining game oilers need a serious look at defence or coaching cause there was no defence 16 shots 4 goals is not good look
