  1. What many don't know about this incident was that Ott was up 3-2 in the series and up 2-0 in the game early. The sens were flying looking like they were going to finally beat Toronto in the playoffs after losing the 2 previous years. I was at this game and as soon as they gave the 5 minute major to Persson I looked at my brother and said "The Sens just lost the series".

Sure enough the Leafs score 2 goals on the 5 minute powerplay go on to win the game and game 7 back home.

  2. Most would be down and out. Domi gets back up and ready to go. He was the toughest the NHL had ever seen

  3. Domis slash was sort of a cheap shot. I’m good. I didn’t think that cement head could bleed.

  4. Pay back for Niedermayer and Samuelsson. Dummy was the biggest pu**y of all time. He even hid behind a teammate to avoid a fight! 👩🏒

  5. Persson cost the Sens the series there, and he never played another NHL game

  6. Domi had one cheap shot on Neidermyer that was bad, a sucker punch on Ulf that was brilliant (celebrated by the whole league)… I don't recall many cheap shots by Domi… maybe the hit on Havlat was late, but that's 1.5 – 2 cheapshots in a lengthy career from one of the toughest players in the game.

  7. Domi deserved more hits like this. Should have ended his career.

  8. Domi riled up the Devils in 2001 with his elbow and riled up the Leafs in 2002 by absorbing a hit from Ottawa
