That’s exactly what you should do in a fight when somebody is 30lbs more than you… and btw this is exactly what Mohammed Ali did in what was considered the best fight ever… if he would’ve knocked Paul out at the end it would’ve been the best fight strategy… the announcers are absolute jokes you hear them crying because they want action for the pay per view they know everybody is losing money but this is fighting. If anyone wants to rewatch it, do so with the commentary muted. It was equally embarrassing for Logan but the commentary team tried their best to deflect all of it onto Danis.
At the end of the day I think Danis was successful in what he wanted to achieve. He was fighting against Logan’s promotion more than he was fighting Logan. He made it boring, he made it unprofessional, he made the matchmakers look clueless. He made sure a lot of people won’t buy the next PPV.
Why would he put on a good show and give Logan’s promotion good publicity when he’s literally suing him?
