  1. it's sucks he's gone but if we waived him we would have lost him for nothing am ok with getting a pick we are short on them but will miss Sam Lafferty never say never maybe get him back at trade deadline or off season

  2. Look we all knew something had to happen regarding the salary cap. It happened and Lafferty was the result. Move on.

  3. Lafferty was a reliable player that wasn't afraid to get his nose bloodied, unlike most on this team.

  4. This is a cap-related move. Lafferty was a great bottom-six player who had a lot of speed and could kill penalties. Since Minten and Gregor made a case to make the team, we needed to trade someone and unfortunately he was the chosen target.
