At least we got a laine goal lol. Marchenko needs to be on top line. Lines looked better in preseason
Peeke was awful last night as was the 4th line.
1. The Johnson Scratch Killed the Vibes not to mention the media chatter that its started… Feel horrible for Kent after the season he gave us last year!! He would've made a difference out there last night!! I hate It!!
2. Yes, Werenski turned it over on that 1st Goal against.. but Peeke forgot how to skate, lost his edges and just fell over with no one around him which left Elvis on an Island😂🤣 It was bad but funny!! Peeke was horrendous last night whilst Boqvist was scratched🤮 Wheres Blanks??? 🦖I will Give Peekes props as he saved a goal but other then that.. oof!!
3. No big Hits..Allowed Philly to Bully!! Boone, Laine and Guddy at least tried to get rough out there but no one else 🫣 I don't want anyone injured but I can't wait until Voronkov gets comfortable on the smaller ice in cleveland!! We Need him up here to bring some more physicality to that 3rd Line With Boone!! Watch the Preseason, stats not amazing but if you watched the Games almost every game he played in…. something he did would would lead to a goal or a chance. Whether it be , a turnover, someone knocked down or dazed or out of position because of Dmitri and I can't wait until he gets up here!! I love him, Picture on my Ceiling(jk, maybe) 😂
4. Pascal is trying to implement "His" system instead of Building a system around the Players He has!! This Team is All Offense!! Build it Around Offense😂😂 Thats what Edmonton does!! Thats what Many Teams out West Do!! This isn't hard!!
6. What were those Lime Combo's🤮🤮🤮 Pascal ought to be drag out back for not having Marchenko on that Top Line…. Silly Looked aight the 1st Few shifts but it wasn't great after…Johnny looked like he wishes he was in Jersey… Provo looked shaky at times but made several big plays… 4th line was Not good… wish Kent was with Fantilli and Marchenko at least!!
5. No one on that Team Looked like they were having any Fun!!! I don't care if you're losing as its gonna happen but at least have some fun out there!!

During the first period CBJ had some great zone exits after that they started getting passes picked off in the neutral zone and getting stuck in their own end. I think they will be able to get a win tonight!
