The Vegas Knights have used BOTH goalies and BOTH have very high stats and that is NOT because they have great goalies it is because of the TEAM.I wish people would quit talking about goalies it should have been very obvious seeing BOTH Boston goalies last year with high numbers unless people think Swayman was the third best goalie in the league.
The Habs do NOT need anymore goalies they need COAHCING someone to teach guys like Slafkovsky who looks like a 10 yr old kid with no clue how to play in his own end.That last game versus Chicago Slaf was standing beside the defense every single time he looked like a complete noob when comes to hockey.
Savard continues to look like the worst overall player he is too slow to useless and when you get Slafkovsky on at the same time you have two players just standing in front of the goalie covering nobody.
Goalies drive me nuts. They are like a damn lottery ticket.

It’s not a must to acquire Askarov and certainly not at all cost. We have no idea on where Fowler might be.
I can think of two players who teams doubted because of their skating and were drafted in late rounds because of their skating skills.

The CH cannot trade : Caufield, Suzuki, Xhekaj, Reinbacher, Mailloux or Hutson for Askarov. These players are and will be indispensable to the CH’s future.

I really just can’t wait for Fowler to hopefully be up in the AHL/NHL in the next few years.. 1.45 GAA and a .929 save percentage with a 2-0 record at Boston College… dude is a winner and going to be a stud!
I'm starting to trend toward growing a goalie WITH this core group ..!! Waiting til the forward group and dmen to gel leaves the NEW goalie out of the"culture" loop..!! The future goaltender needs to feel like HE is a part of the team culture ..!! Not a late "add on" ..!! 😊
