  1. Allvin masterclass bringing in Laff and DeSmith last minute and now those two carry us to a win against the cup favourites.

  2. Good start to the season what a statement I’m happy with what I’ve seen best Edmonton twice let’s go I’ve said before that if the Canucks want to make the playoffs they have to establish an identity and they have so far these two games with the hard forechecking more tougher on defence and on top of that they are scoring goals

  3. I believe this was a classic case of the Oilers grossly underestimating how good the Canucks are going to be this year

  4. Exciting times 😁 Agreed, DeSmith was amazing out there. Even when I heard he was starting, I had no fears. And Demkos reponse to him at the end with the biggest smile on his face was priceless 💕

The P B &J line was tough 💪 Miller and PDG had 12 hits recorded.

Hogs, Studs, Laffy all had a nice game and looked good against this Oilers team.

When this flu works its way out and we got Soucy, Mik and Bleuger back…… Just wow 😮 A lot to look forward to 😊

I did see a lot of nervous moves but as a team they withstood and the nerves will work themselves out.

    Go Canucks!!!

  5. I don't think its fair to call Miller & digiseppi bad cause of expected goals against, cause they were literally paired against mcdavid all night, and often mcdavid and draisaitl. So they did their darndest

  6. nux need to stop taking bad penalties especially against a team that mostly relies/can score on the powerplay… almost shot themselves in the foot with that delay of game/puck over glass penalty but good thing the pk isn't bad so far this season. Overall a good team game

  7. This game is different but just as impressive, Canucks didn't just sit back and let the Oilers dominate as previous seasons. Everyone played a even keeled, responsible and aggressive way

  8. Good teams win when they shouldnt. We got crushed across the board but scored when we had to and people worked hard defensively and got their sticks in lanes and DeSmith was fantastic. Oilers staked their pride on that game being a response to the 8-1 game and… they lost.

  9. Philly scares me. The minute I hear that's a team they should beat I start to worry. That's a sure-fire trap. We'll see Tuesday if Toccher keeps them grounded and focused on the process. Don't start reading your press clippings, you see what it did for The Oil.

  10. I can’t wait to see a line with Mikheyev and Lafferty together. That would be some crazy speed

  11. McDavid went out of his way to deliver a hit on Pete who wasn't even looking he was following the puck…. your perspective on play is brutal man…

  12. Only if Podz hear this and drive the net like Sam Lafferty. That's a hockey player, baby!

  13. During the West Coast Express era Vancouver was routinely out shot. We killed goals against and save percentages for opposing goalies. This team seems to put them in pretty good so far. Maybe the Canucks should have the theme Mission Impossible. Their Mission seems impossible. But in the end end up victorious. On the highlights where they scramble and don't get scored on or their own pressure on other teams play the music. May have been out shot but the guys battled to the last whistle. They made it happen. Can talk about all the shots, but we won.

  14. Last year had highs and more lows .. but some of the highs (habs and leafs games in Vancouver) were quite satisfying to be at. Surrounded by meltdown while winning is an oddly cathartic feeling in your own building. If nothing else, I bet plenty more people are not looking forward to playing the Canucks today, which is great ..

  15. Canucks Win Both Games Thats all That Matters To Me and We Did Manage to Out Score Edmonton 12-4 in Two Games with Demko being Sick and Our Backup Goalie Playing Good Is All Good With Me

  16. When you play shorthanded for half a period against arguably the best powerplay unit in the league, shots are bound to be lopsided. Vancouver is not the team of previous years, and it's shocking that no one has been paying attention to moves made in the off-season.

  17. Some very intelligent and honest hockey insights and reactions. I enjoy listening to your content.
