Great stuff guys! I’m writing as I am watching. I agree that the shoot-out needs to go. Three-on-three for 5 minutes as is. If the game is still tied, then play another three-on-three, but take out the blue lines until a goal is scored. Arber Xhekaj on some nights is the Habs best defenceman. His ability to fight and rough it up is a huge bonus. Great leadership is shown when he steps up and gets involved in scrums.😀 Mick

Great show guys. Well done. These stupid rules gotta go. The offside one, the shootout and even goaltender interference (unless they make some solid decisions on what that actually is) take away from the game imo. Yes the game is faster now but for God's sake let them play the game. All these rules slow the game down imo. Oh the opening ceremony was terrible, just terrible imo, definitely missing something. It's like the daily scrums with the players, just terrible with poor sound, no subtitles (English or French). You'd think with an organization like Montreal they'd take better steps to make it all more professional. Ok, enough whining. Hey we got 3 out of 4 points in the first 2 games. I'm happy with that. Let's hope Dach's injury isn't too bad. GHG
Yeah, the opening ceremony was a disappointment. Maybe Buttman told them they have to tone it down, because the other teams don't come close to what the HABS usually do. Maybe, Jan 27th will be a big ceremony because it will be the 7000th game in HABS history.
Depending on what happens with Kirby, then move Monahan up with Newhook and Slaf, put Dvorak as 3rd line centre.
