I don’t know man. I feel people project a lot onto a game like that based on the outcome. This was the same stuff people were praising the team for against Vegas in the bubble.
Get outshot 40-16 but win 4-3? “Ah scrappy defence and hard work and grit. All the shots were outside chances and they didn’t give up anything big. They know how to make their chances count!”
Get outshot 40-16 and lose 4-3? “Terrible defensive effort. You can’t expect to win that way. Need more grit and hard work willing to pay the price and block shots. Team needs to learn how to actually lock it down.”
They got caved in but won. That’s good, occasionally. To be good you need to win games you shouldn’t have won. But you can’t repeat that defensive effort with any regularity and be actually good.

They could have easily scored 7 goals lol.
We got caved in for about 55 minutes. Any one of those “perimeter” shots could have went in. We scored two of them.
I fully expected us to get blown up that game, but we somehow came out with a win.

After getting their ass whooped on national television in game 1, it was expected that they would come out and play their playoff game in the rematch. I think what’s most impressive is the fact that they played desperate playoff hockey but still couldn’t beat a Canucks team that was playing our backup and missing 3 regulars.
