Maybe they can actually stop playing it safe and jumble the lines a little this year? Put Rakell on the third line? Or I dunno take Carter out of the lineup completely? I mean it makes sense 6 people who haven’t played much together at all still wouldn’t have chemistry, but Rakells one of those players that seems to be able to play anywhere. Just please don’t keep things the same game after game and expect it to magically get better. That didn’t work last year

He caught iron twice too. A centimeter the other way, our way, he is in the lead. He still has it.
The bottom six has improving to do. Yes. But the thing is, this group has never played together. None of them. Carter has played on this TEAM, yes, but he hasnt played with the other guys. Preseason shmeeseason. Give them some time. Maybe shuffle some guys around. But they do need to figure things out eventually.
I have a feeling when Hinestroza gets his shot he's going to stick around for a while. When he was at Arizona he consistently did the things we need him to do here. I don't know who's going to ultimately stand out on the bottom 6, but I think there's a good chance he's one of them. That and Zahorna needs to replace Carter now.
