Lightning are terrible đąđąđą
Well, I think you can safely move Carolina down to the 3rd row, if not the bottom. Awesome offense, but they are a professional goalie or two from being even a good team this year. The defensemen have more saves than the goaltenders. I saw Andersen four feet in front of the goal three different times against the Kings when the puck action was in the corner. Inexcuseable. Honestly, a butterfly statue of Cam Ward in front of the net would be more efffective. If their season isn't already ruined by the trade deadline, they oughtta call San Jose and trade some offense for Blackmore…And I think Anaheim may be better than you're giving them credit for. Hard to tell though, since Carolina's goalies are so bad…
Sens have scored ten in two games after losing the season opener!
I think both narratives are proving true now. The Bolts are nothing without Vasy and the Sens definitely got better and play harder. Also Brady is a hard working player.
Wow. Surprising outcome for the Ducks.
I wonder if Shannon pre writes the Ref you suck gags or if theyâre improvised every time.
The Canes were having a rough game but it was still kind of cool to see the Ducks look like an actual hockey team. Rough, but night and day compared to last year. Cronin has some good building blocks, I can see the Ducks being like the Yotes were last year: bad, but with flashes of danger to capitalize on opponents who take them lightly.
Canât wait to see the canes drop! LGDucks!!
Edit: the refs suck
Watching some early games, I canât wait for game 15. Refs have been very, very odd in classic early season fashion.
Ducks new threads look awesome.
Awww poor Tampa Bay Lightning. Givin it up like they're the red light district of the NHL. I know what's it like not having goaltending. It's painful….really painful
agreed, the Ducks should go back to the eggplant color jerseys permanently ⊠AND the Canucks should go back to the yellow/orange/black jerseys with the skate
Not a good night for the weather-related franchises!
How can they lose to Ducks?
Go sens go
Crowd really makes a difference for the ducks at home, especially before weâre all let down as the season goes on.. 20-9-1 in home openers or something like that?
My only regret about tonight's Duck was I wasn't there to see it live. Such a great home opener. I'm so hyped about the rest of the season if this is how the team is going to play. Quack!
Quacking night for Frankie "Melanzana" Vatrano đźđč!!!
Shannon', you're a lucky guy getting that Ducks 30th anniversary jersey!!!
Sens are cuties
I will become a ducks fan if they go back to the original jerseys
One of the thing I really did like as kid about the Ducks was the well logo and the colours on the jersey
so many teams seems to use black nowadays
If the OC thing is the issue with not being able to get rid of the orange jerseys that no one likes or buys anymore, just change the name of the County to Eggplant or Purple or something. Problem solved. đ
You aren't lying about how good that jersey looks. (Ducks 30th)
I feel like home ice may matter more now that covid policy's are lighter and cap space and teams have more of the same players this year….good break down love it hockey guy !!!
I think the Canes had a hangover from last night's SO game, but still should have looked better.
Sens had no Norris /Pinto so Tampa not having Stamkos is no biggie
Off game from Canes after long travel and LA game day before. Against Sharks they should be way better. Canes need to get their Powe play to click, it has been their biggest problems past few 2 seasons and have bitten them in the ass quite a few times
This game I wouldn't blame on missing Vassi or Stamkos unless Stamkos is doing a lot more than I realize the whole team just looked so confused out there other than the Cirelli line.
16-12-6 after going 0-2.
The Ducks have been missing the "mighty" for too long. Time to bring it back, in purple.
That Canes game was tough to watch but Iâm taking two positives from it
1. Canes scored on the PP
2. Teravainen getting his groove back
I love hockey so much and I just want to say it out loud
Crowd 15,584 in Ottawa?
Idgaf ducks making the playoffs- let me be delussional for one game before we inevitability have a 13 game losing streak
Ducks will be fun to watch this year. Should take a step forward this season.
The fans call a penalty, the refs do not. lol!
Maybe the sens fans just really want beans
1st Tkachuk goal was tough, blocked at the source chimes right back to him at a different angle and Tomkins had overplayed the initial shot. Overall thought he played better than the team in front of him. Perbix showing all the signs of a seed sophomore jinx early and they can't afford that. Would like to see Jeanott and Marella get a little more ice time.
