No ones surprised edvinsson is ready . What’s surprising is Yzerman would go and get petry with a 2 year term and holl with 3 years when he just extended maata for 2 years and already having chiarot for another 3 yrs as well as gost for 1 year. Why would we get all these guys when johansson and wallinder won’t be far off as well.

Ottawa has been the Wings next big rival since Tkachuk chirped the whole bench last season. Each game is going to be insane.
Not gonna lie , don't like the horn or the song especially since the claim was its the same horn as the old one from the Joe and it's clearly not and on sportsnets highlights comments section was nothing but pointing out that it sounds just like Florida's, Minnesotas and Arizonas 😂.

I remember back when the Wings won their last Cup, they lost the next season to Hossa and the Pens. The Wings era was over. I think that's where the Bolts are now. Even when Vassy is back, they're done. This season, someone's going to take that spot in the playoffs.
I love Raymond on the top line, and I'm damn glad to see him playing there. Perron kinda slows it down a bit. Is he gritty? You bet, Perron is amazing at providing some grit and pushing other players around. But to me, Raymond is learning to do just that with his newfound size and has the speed to keep up with Larks and Cat.

I don't wanna overreact BUT… Is anyone else getting reverse 2015-2016 vibes? Tampa on the comeup as the wings were aging in those back to back playoff appearances. Could we see the reverse start to happen this year?
